The group formed in 2007 and has quickly built a dedicated fan base that grows with each day, and is sure to increase with their new self-titled CD. Prospect Hill has honed their skills by performing hundreds of live shows all over the east coast and also in San Diego, where they performed at the 2009 Rock N Roll marathon. This emerging sextet has also shared the stage with some of today's hottest acts, including Hinder, Buckcherry, Disturbed and Korn. Music review site PlaygroundBoston.com has labeled Prospect Hill's sound as "absolutely tailor-made for radio stations." They are a rock band, but gather influence from all genres. Their sound can range from heavy metal to pop rock.something they like to call it "metal-odic." These "bright prospects," as labeled by the Eagle Tribune newspaper, can be compared to national acts such as Hinder, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Papa Roach, Theory of a Deadman, 3 Doors Down and the Deftones. Prospect Hill's music has a crossover appeal that these more famous acts also possess.
