Powder Finger

A Trio of Great Reviews for Charlie Wheeler!

The Charlie Wheeler Trio is getting some fantastic press.  Here’s what a few folks had to say:

“Gone is the standard blues-rock format in exchange for a more free-flowing fountain of rock ‘n’ roll ideas akin to, say, Gov’t Mule or The Black Crowes…I’m starting to find some good rock ‘n’ roll again…” (Aquarian Weekly)

“Solid blues rock with a small pinch of funk…Masterful rhythm that is very well spent…”  (Rootstime)

“The Charlie Wheeler Trio is one of those hard working bands who are trying to gain traction is the highly competitive field of American blues bands. Their new album should push them a little closer to the top…”  (Cashbox)

The band’s new album “Rewind” is available now.  Here’s “Big City Blues” for your listening pleasure …
