- Services -

At the end of each week of promotion/tracking we will issue a report that assesses your status at relevant radio stations. Based on these reports, we can offer advice and assistance to clients regarding the best approach to capitalizing on airplay. Albums and EPs have the most impact at these radio stations, but singles are also acceptable at many stations.

Singles are promoted only via digital. Required Assets: artwork, uncompressed .wav and .mp3 versions of your song, ISRC code, UPC code (if track is for sale), composer, publisher, record label name, copyright year, and approximately 4-8 sentences about the song and artist.

Note: By request, we can also target certain specific local stations to the artist. Personalized proposals available by request.

Special Note About Pricing for Radio Promotion Packages: Releases that are appropriate for more than one radio format are NOT double or triple priced, but will take on only the cost of the more expensive package.

Powderfinger promoted the #1 Jazz Album of the year at radio for 3 years in a row!

- Conditions -

Four weeks minimum; at least half paid upfront. (Full amount paid up for 4 week promotions).

- Time -

We recommend at least eight weeks of promotion for an Album, at least six weeks of promotion for an EP, and at least four weeks of promotion for a Single.

- Guarantees -

No one can guarantee how much airplay a release will receive, but we do guarantee that we’ll make our best effort to contact each relevant music director (or specialty DJ) on your behalf. Response rates from radio tend to be around 20%-40%, but can vary. Reports are sent weekly.

- Delivering Music to Radio -

Mailing: Rates do not include postage/packaging, which is normally handled by the record label and/or band. Powderfinger provides peel-off address, return address, and Add Date labels. Powderfinger can also handle the mailing for an additional fee that includes postage, packaging, one sheets, and labor. Client is responsible for manufacturing and providing CDs. Postage rates fluctuate, so please contact us for more info.

Digital Delivery: Although singles are always promoted digitally to radio, digital EPs and albums are still not preferred by all radio stations. A mix of album CDs and album downloads has the maximum impact. We can also promote eps and albums effectively using only CDs or only downloads when necessary. Please contact us for more info.
