Wally Barnick – Wally Barnick and the Trail Boss Troubadors

Longtime California acoustic music mainstay WALLY BARNICK has released a new solo album with guest appearances by Grammy Award winners John McFee (Doobie Brothers) and Gabe Witcher (Punch Brothers) with five-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Jason Carter (The Del McCoury Band). A decades long member of the renowned urban-bluegrass group Cache Valley Drifters and current member of the acoustic trio known as Crary, Evans & Barnick, Wally’s warm, distinctive voice coupled with songs written by former long-time bandmates are the focus of the project. This is pure American music, with melodies, chord progressions and vocal harmonies that draw from influences that include—but aren’t limited to—folk, straight-ahead country, bluegrass, rock and blues.
