Elvis Americano is the 4th album from US based Americana singer-songwriter D. Henry Fenton, whose sound has been described as a mix between Tom Petty and Roy Orbison. The album features Lucinda Williams guitarist Doug Pettibone, Billy Idol drummer Erik Eldenius, Social Distortion keyboardist David Kalish, and others.
Elvis Americano was produced in Los Angeles by Jorgen Carlsson (Govt’ Mule/Chris Cornell) with songs about self-reflection, redemption, media overload and Wyatt Earp. The production is lush and open and contains elements of Americana, Folk & Blues, and there’s been some good initial support from radio stations in Australia and the USA for the first 2 singles. D. Henry Fenton has appeared on Australian TV and opened for artists such as Kasey Chambers, The Corrs, Lissie and Ed Kuepper. Fenton has also played guitar for Australian country star James Blundell and US artists Jaime Wyatt and Lissie.
Elvis Americano was recorded and mixed in Los Angeles at Jorgen Carlsson’s Rogers Boat Studio and features musicians Jorgen Carlsson, Doug Pettibone, Erik Eldenius, David Kalish, Stan Cotey, John (JT) Thomas, Joel Sutton and Rosa Pullman. www.DHenryFenton.com
