For RUBY OTIS, no time is better than now. Ruby Otis is a music project by Los Angeles singer songwriter Sabrina Judge: soulful vocals rooted in truth. Sabrina writes intimate songs about the human condition – music for today that bears an understanding of what came before it. “Weather Systems” is Ruby Otis’ new single from an upcoming EP release, produced and mixed by Aaron Glascock, Sabrina’s husband. Aaron is an Oscar nominated sound designer and drummer who cut his teeth in the early LA punk scene. “Weather Systems” is intimate and transportive.

Sabrina sings the ballad with comforting guidance in the face of uncertainty. Sabrina’s musical path started in the late ‘80s when she co-founded an acoustic duo that played the vital Angelino coffee shop scene. In 1992, the duo blossomed into Wheel, a power trio that delivered dynamic alt.rock and became a regular in the Los Angeles alternative scene. The band appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s film The Underneath, performing “Fall From Mine,” which is also on the soundtrack. In 2002, Sabrina released an independent self-titled album featuring the song “I Remember,” which was featured on Dawson’s Creek. Since then, many moons have cycled, illuminating Sabrina’s soulful words and music. This is Ruby Otis!
