I have acquired more instruments than the average guitar shop over the years,” says Mitch Dalton. “It seems to go with the territory. It numbered about forty-five in total when last I counted. However, I’m not a compulsive collector. It’s merely because specific instruments are requested from time to time, and it is an unwise man who declines a week of studio work because he lacks a baritone guitar, or a mandolin, or a charango and so on..”
