Hope Levy is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, voice actress, and theatrical performer. She began singing as a child alongside legendary folk songwriter Malvina Reynolds and recorded the bonus track featured on the CD version of this album, “Smilin’,” a song co-written by Marla Hunt of the pioneering allfemale rock band Ace of Cups. Hope’s performance credits include appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, the voice of “Mom” in Boss Baby: Back in Business (Netflix), vocals in the Na’vi language for Avatar, and the “Welcome to Duloc” singer in Shrek. Hope Levy Sings Connie Converse! is Hope’s third album release and was inspired by her awardwinning touring theatrical concert, The Connie Converse Universe – Searching for the “Amelia Earhart of Folk Music.”
