The track is an up-tempo country pop song written with Fenton’s old Holly Golightly bandmate Bentley Rumble. “Waltz Around The Truth” utilizes classic instruments such as mandolin, organ, pedal steel and 12-string acoustic guitar with some memorable musical hooks, and features Fenton, Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule / Chris Cornell), and Doug Pettibone (Lucinda Williams). D. Henry Fenton is a singer-songwriter who was born in New Zealand, grew up in Australia and now lives in the USA.
He has appeared on Australian TV and has opened for acts such as Kasey Chambers, Lissie, The Corrs, and Ed Kuepper. Henry has also played guitar for renowned Australian country artist James Blundell, and US artists Jaime Wyatt, & Lissie. Fenton’s first album, Autumn Sweet, was produced and engineered by Mitch Easter (REM/Ben Folds Five) at his Fidelitorium Recordings studio in North Carolina. Henry has since released the albums Turnin’, and Twice I Fell Down Once, as well as an EP of Howlin’ Wolf songs called Howlin’ Back, and 2 singles—“The Loneliest Boy In The World” and “Ruby (Days Gone By).” MUSICIANS: D.
